Great news to report. The EMB application for National Lottery funding has been successful. A grant of £19,880 has been awarded to pay for new activities to run from the new Community Rooms.
The funding application was submitted after the EMB consulted over what local residents would like to see offered at the new community rooms (see story over the page for more details). This funding will mean it will be possible to trial run various activities for all age groups to find out what is popular and has the most impact. Examples of possible activities include sessions for young people, mental health support, social groups, employment and training advice, citizens advice bureau sessions and lots more. Look out for more details in the coming months.
