Rebuilding a Community
In 1994, residents of the Pembroke Street estate came together to set up their own not-for-profit management organisation — the only Tenant Management Organisation in the South West. Ever since, residents have taken the lead in managing and improving the homes and shared spaces around them.
Working in partnership with Plymouth Community Homes, the EMB has spent more than thirty years rebuilding pride in the estate — better services, safer communal areas and a stronger community, guided by the people who live here.
